1.1. KaChava

KaChava is a super-blend providing a powerful source of vegan protein [1], superfoods, and nutrients the body needs. Therefore, it can serve as a whole-body meal, which is a good piece of news for vegetarians and people on their diets.

All of its ingredients are sourced from nature and carefully formulated into nutritious blends. With this holistic health supplement, you can expect to have your guts, muscles, skin, hair, heart, and immunity improved.

Also, it comes with various options of flavors to choose from. They are vanilla, chocolate, coconut acai, chai, and matcha. Overall, chocolate is the favorite taste for most KaChava users, yet, matcha is a brand-new flavor that is worth trying out as well.

1.2. Vega One

Vega One provides plant-based nutritional shakes with organic protein, vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients to support your immune system. Unfortunately, the brand is currently serving only two markets: the United States and Canada.

Vega One comes with more flavors than KaChava. You can choose from them berry, mocha, french vanilla, chocolate, chocolate mint, coconut almond, or even the plain unsweetened flavor.

However, what piques the curiosity of most users is whether Vegan One is a meal replacement [2]. There is no answer to this. On its official website, the manufacturer only confirms that Vegan One is food, yet they recommend buyers check the nutritional facts panel to see if it’s worth a meal replacement for each individual.

It’s obvious here that KaChava provides higher amounts of all key ingredients. Although its available flavors are fewer than Vega One, it does not really matter. What impresses users about KaChava formulation lies in its amount of protein and the 85+ superfoods that are well blended.

However, if you are looking for something with “extremely low” sugar added, take into consideration Vega One.

KaChava Vs Vega One: Customers Reviews On Amazon

Customer Reviews

4.1. Ka’Chava

The taste is not that awful, according to another review. I promise you. Good tips for making a good shake include having a good blender like the ninja. The higher the watts, the better because it crushes the ice to make it smooth. Bananas peanut butter also adds an excellent soft taste and texture. Two scoops of half or whole banana, depending on your liking.

I’ve tried many protein supplements, and this one beats them all simply because it does what it says it will do, providing protein and plant base nutrients and reducing my need to eat. The only thing I would warn everyone about is that I became highly constipated within the first three weeks of drinking this supplement. The only thing I can think of is that I wasn’t hydrating as much as I should have, considering my workout schedule and daily eating habits.

I first saw this product marketed on my Instagram feed. The nutrient density is what caught my eye and compelled me to do a bit more research. I’m not the healthiest guy in the world, but recently married with a year and half old son, my mind has been on health and trying to change certain bad habits. I took a chance on something I thought very well might be another marketing ploy. I’m only into my second bag now, so I shouldn’t call it out of the woods as far as a total lifestyle change, but my mood, my sleeping, and my energy are all improving.

I do not understand all the one stars for the taste. They should add 40 grams of sugar, which will have the flavor they want. It does not taste great, but trust me, it’s not as bad as some people say. Some strawberries, a banana, blueberries, or grapes are in with the vanilla, and the whole taste issue is gone.

I ordered one pack to see if the product was much better than most, given the high price. I do like it a lot. The ingredient list is quite impressive, but this will serve a more limited niche customer unless they can lower the cost. I am using 1.5 scoops instead of two, so it stretches further. I will order again on subscription and use a pack in rotation with a few other products in a month.

The overall rating score for KaChava on Amazon is 4.5 out of five stars. This is the sign that you can go for it without hesitation. Most reviews are positive. Also, considering the negative reviews, we see that people were mad because they failed to blend the product with additional flavor enhancers, like fruits and cacao.

4.2. Vega One

This product may seem slightly gritty to you if you’ve never tried hemp protein powder and never experienced that kind of grit. That said, I think it’s pretty smooth but not as smooth as a whey protein powder.

Vega one is great nutrition derived from great sources. I’ve been using Vega one products for a couple of years (shakes, meal bars, protein bars), and I love them. However, recently they changed the formula for their nutritional shakes. I’m unsure which product you will receive if you place an order. For your reference, the recipe I like has 23 servings in the large tub and 137 calories. The new 2015 formula (that I don’t like) has only 20 servings, and they are 170 calories.

I bought the Chai flavored shake at Sprouts & spent considerably more than it cost on Amazon. I love this stuff–I don’t know about all the hype with maca, but I have noticed an improvement in my mood, and it’s very satisfying.

I started buying this after the formula was changed and saw the reviews warning me. Well, it happened again. The latest version has a lot more calories, even fewer servings per container, and the flavor has an unpleasant heavy cinnamon backbeat. The last version was a better chai balance.

I LOVE my Vega One! I never tried the original formula, so I have nothing to compare it to. But it’s delicious and beyond filling. I mix it with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Vanilla almond milk (I will probably switch to unsweetened vanilla to knock off some calories). It’s great anytime. Lately, I’ve been replacing my coffee with it. But I also use it as a meal replacement and an after work out drink.

Generally, the overall rating score for Vega One on Amazon is 4.0 out of five stars. This is not a bad sign. There are various praising comments that we’ve found. However, skimming through the negative ratings, we see that people are unpleased with the way Vega One has changed its formula but not the price. However, what matters most is that the formula has not been the same; it provides fewer calories and nutrients than what it gave seven years ago.

All in all, our KaChava vs Vega One comparison comes to a final verdict that KaChava is a better option. Regarding nutrients, we see that KaChava provides higher amounts than Vega One. Besides, there are no significant differences in the pricing of both. Also, what makes KaChava more favorable to most people is that it can surely serve as a whole meal replacement. The 25 grams of protein in its formula is promising as well.

There is a lot to choose from when it comes to health shakes in today’s market. The best product should be simply the one that meets your needs and is able to go with you in the long run. With that said, it is not impossible to find the product that offers the maximum value among hundreds of options.
